  • SYNOPSIS

    In The Velocity of Autumn, the aging matriarch Alexandra, who is 79, fights to stay in her Brooklyn Brownstone, rather than be relegated to a home. She fights her children with passion and wit, and looks like she will win until her estranged son, Chris, returns home. With that a tidal wave of emotions engulfs the family. The Velocity of Autumn is exceptionally funny, extremely emotional, and wondrously honest. Playwright Eric Coble offers a rich family drama that offers dramatic insights into family, mothers, and sons.
