  • SYNOPSIS

In Victorian England, John Merrick, the Elephant Man, goes from being a freak show feature to a central figure in London’s high society. Although greatly physically disfigured, Merrick’s inner soul and depth of compassion opened the eyes of many in Victorian England, as they saw through his imperfect frame to his kind, sensitive, and damaged inner being. The Elephant Man intimately examines the nature of celebrity, the cruelty and kindness of humankind, and the blind manner in which nature can determine our existence. The Elephant Man is a drama that engages, entertains, and elightens.
