Synopsis
Remember those great 80s teen movies with characters like the hunk Captain of the Football Team, the confused Asian Exchange Student, the nerdy Geek and the sensual Head Cheerleader? They and more are all in the hit audience participation, improvisational comedy The Awesome 80s Prom. Set at the fictional Wanaget High School, the evening is a little bit of American Idol, a little bit retro and whole lot of fun.
The Awesome 80s Prom, which has become very popular with bachelorette parties, birthday celebrations and other such group events, is one hysterical ride. The show has been playing on Fridays and Saturdays Off-Broadway for six years and looks to simply keep on going as audiences can’t seem to get enough of those teen types that defined the 1980s. Dress up in your finest retro prom attire and enjoy every nostalgic moment of the time when “awesome” defined just about every part of a teen’s existence.
