SYNOPSIS

In Outside Mullingar, the romantic comedy about two potential sweethearts, Anthony and Rosemary, an actual relationship between the couple-to-be seems to be doomed. Or is it? Anthony, who is painfully shy, has spent his life amongst the cattle of his family’s rural farm. Rosemary, who lives next door, has watched the years go by but still her longing for him is fresh and new. Rosemary may be the ultimate optimist or the classic avoider of truth, but if this romance is going to become a reality in Outside Mullingar then a whole lot of complications are going to have to be resolved and obstacles navigated. There’s a land feud between the two families developing and Anthony’s father is ready to disinherit him. But Outside Mullingar is an Irish romantic tale and that means that these two unique souls possessing passion and resolve will finally find their way to one another’s heart. At least we think they will?
