SYNOPSIS
The Phantom of the Opera is an emotionally and physically tortured being, having endured artistic humiliation as a composer and a terrible disfiguring accident that was partly due to his own anger and carelessness. He is a man driven by extraordinarily extreme emotions as he cares passionately about one thing—his music. That is until he sees and hears the stunning Carlotta Giudicelli. He wants her more than he wants anything else and thus this beauty and the beast story unfolds as the Phantom pursues and abducts Carlotta, wanting to keep her caged in his secret retreat as his personal songbird. -
