Pacino’s Shylock won him a Tony nomination. See his next great Broadway performance with group discount tickets and COMPS from All Tickets. All Tickets loves that Patti LuPone, Debra Winger and Al Pacino will all be on Broadway soon and that we can offer Broadway group discounts and COMPS. LuPone and Winger will star in the new David Mamet play The Anarchist and Pacino will star in the revival of Mamet’s powerful tale of salesmanship gone awry Glengarry Glen Ross. There’s a lot of star power here and great writing from one of America’s most unique creators of stage language.

LuPone and Winger

Winger, who will be on Broadway in Mamet’s The Anarchist, earned one of her three Oscar nominations for her work in Terms of Endearment.
There’s great buzz about The Anarchist for various reasons. Once again, Mamet has written a two-character play, which is something at which he excels. Other two character shows that are well known include Oleanna and A Life in the Theatre. The Anarchist focuses on a violent extremist (LuPone) who petitions for parole and the warden (Winger) who is determined to keep her behind bars.

Patti LuPone, who has won two Tonys, is no stranger to the Broadway stage, while The Anarchist marks Debra Winger’s debut on The Great White Way. Winger has been nominated for three Academy Awards with her most recent being for her intimate and complex portrayal of Joy Gresham in Shadowlands. Winger starred opposite Anthony Hopkins, who played writer C.S. Lewis. Mamet directs The Anarchist.

All Tickets has group discount deals for this show and also exclusive COMPS. The Anarchist is part of All Tickets COMP PROMO for all new incoming Broadway shows. For every 30 tickets purchased, groups receive 1 COMP (up to 4 total). Orders must be confirmed by September 30, 2012.

Pacino and Bobby Cannavale

Bobby Cannavale won a Drama Desk for his work with Chris Rock in Broadway’s The Motherf****er in a Hat. He next works with Pacino in Glengarry Glen Ross.Veteran film actor, Al Pacino, who recently won plaudits for his portrayal of Shylock in The Merchant of Venice on Broadway, is starring as Shelly Levene in the no-holds barred drama Glengarry Glen Ross. Bobby Cannavale, who received a 2011 Drama Desk Award for Best Actor for his work in The Motherf***er in a Hat, which starred Chris Rock, plays the free wheeling, smooth talking Ricky Roma, a role originally created with aplomb by Joe Mantegna. Cannavale has been in numerous films and TV series, including Third Watch, while as of late Pacino has returned to his roots, the stage.

Look for this latest version of Glengarry Glen Ross to be stellar and brutally honest. This is a great play for an actor such as Pacino who has great chops. It should be a fine addition to the Broadway season especially playing at the same time as the Steppenwolf production of Edward Albee’s Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?

If you have a group, you can see Al Pacino in Glengarry Glen Ross through All Tickets. We can make your group ticket purchase, and we have a special comp program, please inquire at 800-922-0716.
