dance-and-railroadThe Dance and the Railroad, which premiered in 1981 and is the second play written by David Henry Hwang, looks at the mid-nineteenth century strike by Chinese railroad workers.

Synopsis

The Dance and the Railroad, which is the second production in the Residency One: David Henry Hwang Series by the SignatureTheatre, is set on a California mountaintop in 1867 near the Transcontinental Railroad.
