When an anonymous benefactor decides to send Jerusha Abbott to college, there's one stipulation. That being, she must write him a letter once a month. Jerusha creates an identity for the person who has given her this great gift, calling him Daddy Long Legs. She writes to him, as she has agreed to, and shares her college experiences. Simultaneously, she discovers who she is as she unearths the amazing worlds of literature, adventure, and love. But one elusive question weighs on her mind— who is is Daddy Long Legs?
