Synopsis
Hit The Wall looks at a watershed moment in American history. On June 28, 1969 before the new morning sun appeared, what was considered to be a routine police raid at the The Stonewall Inn, was the genesis for change in America. The raid on Stonewall, which was a popular underground gay bar in Greenwich Village, ignited a major riot. The Stonewall Riots, which were defined by violent protests and street demonstrations, continued for numerous days. Stonewall propelled various unlikely revolutionaries into the frontline of a movement that would change U.S. culture and politics forever.
