The revival of This Is Our Youth by Kenneth Lonergan brings Michael Cera, Kieran Culkin and Tavi Gevinson to the Broadway stage. Directed by Anna D Shapiro, who won the Tony Award for Best Director of a Play, as well the Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle Award for Outstanding Director of a Play, for Tracy Letts’ August: Osage County, This Is Our Youth three lost souls attempting to find their way in NYC in 1982.

  • SYNOPSIS

    This Is Our Youth focuses on 48 hours in the lives of three young men who find themselves caught up in a world of crime as Warren (Michael Cera), a restless and disconsolate nineteen year old, steals $15,000 from his abusive, ultra-rich father. When Dennis (Kieran Culkin), a drug dealer and friend with a captivating aura, figures out how Warren can make more out of his newly acquired wealth, life becomes very complicated. Thrown into the mix is Jessica (Tavi Gevinson), the anxiety ridden, deftly insight young woman from whom Warren longs.
