Love, Loss, and What I Wore

THIS SHOW IS CLOSED
In this fragmented tale, five women find that their clothing and closets can transport them to other times that hold sometimes wonderful, sometimes dramatic, sometimes comedic and always important moments from their lives. The cast of Love, Loss and What I Wore is comprised of five stars who sit on stools, dressed in formal black. That simple costume statement says that we are about to witness something important, sophisticated and different.
Synopsis
Gingy—an older woman who has wisdom born from years of experiences, narrates Love, Loss and What I Wore. We discover what she was wearing during specific important moments of her life and are enlightened by her life and the lives of the other characters. This show is like an intimated, totally engaging conversation with your best friend. The memories are various and include dismaying moments, dramatic occurrences, bittersweet remembrances and more.
With Nora Ephron, who has written numerous “chick flicks,” as one of the creators, Love, Loss and What I Wore is bound to be a perfect evening out for female friends, a mother and older daughter or that special date night with that very special guy. With a nostalgic look at personal milestones, fashion trends and friends and family, this is a show that will make you feel a range of emotions. Funny, touching and lovingly acted.
