  • SYNOPSIS

    In It’s Only A Play, we see playwright Peter Austin (Matthew Broderick) attempting to deal with the anxieties associated with the premiere of his new play. Will it be the hit that he desperately needs or a flop that destroys his career? Austin shares his big opening night with his best friend, a television star (Nathan Lane), his newbie producer (Megan Mullally), his unpredictable leading lady (Stockard Channing), his wunderkind director, an notorious drama critic (F. Murray Abraham), and a naïve coat check attendant (Micah Stock in his Broadway debut).
