Bette Midler is back as Dolly! Hello, Dolly! tells the story of a charming widowed matchmaker who tries to marry the famous “half-a-millionaire” Horace Vandergelder. The widely celebrated musical, which has won ten Tonys, will have its fourth Broadway revival.

  • SYNOPSIS

    Bernadette Peters plays Dolly Levi, a widowed matchmaker, who returns to New York City to find a wife for the famous "half-a-millionaire" Horace Vandergelder, although it becomes clear right away that Dolly intends to marry Horace herself. This classic musical, which also had a very successful movie adaptation starring Barbra Streisand that won three Oscars, is a sensation and has become one of most widely loved musicals to come to Broadway.

  • Hello, Dolly! opened on Broadway in 1964, where it won ten Tonys. The role of Dolly was played by Carol Channing who made it her signature role. Channing also starred in the second and third Broadway revival of the show. This is the first time that Hello, Dolly! will be on Broadway since 1995. The run previously starred Bette Midler in the title-role!
