  • SYNOPSIS

    Hedwig and the Angry Inch, which won the Village Voice Obie Award and Outer Critics Circle Award for Best Off-Broadway Musical and ran for more than two years off-Broadway, is a major Broadway hit. The musical comedy tells the intriguing story of two rock bands. One very successful band plays huge venues and is led by Tommy Gnosis and another that features Hedwig playing small coffee houses and bars. The musical is an extended monologue by Hedwig to the audience where we are taken on a rock journey that exposes the ironies and injustices of fame, fortune and friendship.
