Part of the Smithsonian Museum complex, the National Museum of the American Indian is dedicated to exploring the varied cultures and traditions of Native Americans. Permanent and special exhibits, performances that include music and dance, symposia and films are all part of the museum’s offerings. Photo exhibits, authentic Native American clothing and artifacts, and important art works by Native Americans are all part of the National Museum of the American Indian experience.
